So for some unexplainable reason I have been having the itch to give shooting people a go again, i havent been on here for a year I reckon, so what have I missed? Just caught up on the fraud thread, priceless! I remeber the days of the the "Tiny" witchunt, did I ever mention I shot him at the CPPS once, get me...

Whats the lowdown on kit these days, I have a geo on loan that i need to give back and a bottle thats out of test. What bottles and regs are the bomb these days (not literally, I dont want a Stako) Will maybe even pick up used marker, whats what on that front?

Anyway thats enough about me, im sure il pick up where I left off...heckling the idiots!

Everyone loves a witchunt.

Dye throttles are pretty cheap 2nd hand, as are a lot of DM's. There are a few Ego 10's around for cheap, also.

Fuel bottles are probably the lightest on the market at the minute. I have one and its ace.

If your buying new, get a geo 3. Or if you can get one second hand your onto a winner(I'd say lv1, but your wait will be too long)

Z2 loaders are very good also. Rotors are equally as good, I've just seen a lot jam, hence why I'd say z2 over it

I'm going to go ahead with my 2 pence here. Forgive me if it's stuff you already know/have, just going to put everything so that i don't leave anything out.
Bottles are generally pretty equal. I agree some maybe lighter than others, but the main thing is a good regulator on the bottle. The Myth regulators are top notch.
Mask, depends on what you want to spend: Brand new you're looking at 75-100 for e-flex, i4's, grillz. 50-75 for Proflex, profilers etc. All are good masks, you want whats best for you though comfort etc.
Pack: NXe in my opinion. Dye ones are not my personal preference but some like them. The PE NXe 4+3+2 are up there with the best of them.
Loader: As above Z2 and Rotor are both good. However, I recently got a spire and wouldn't look back to either of those. They don't come up very often used, but if you can find one new they're unbeatable in my opinion. Also the pinokio is underated, the easiest loader to use and will keep up with anything.
On to the best bit: the marker.
Proto Rail is cheap and a great marker , will be excellent for under £200. Invert mini might also be a good thing for
mid range: the axe is the way to go. Its basically a high end marker at a mid range price, needs a couple of upgrades out the box though, feedneck, barrel (unless you have the superfreak kit) and board are not excellent.
Etek is another good one.
High ends: too many to mention. Luxe 2.0, any Bob Long, DM's (although are a bit hit and miss if not maintained properly), Ego 11 and LV1 are both great, LV1 is a bit expensive at the moment, but if you have the money... Geo 3 as above mentioned, or geo 2/2.1 on the slightly less expensive version. I'm sure ttehre are countless others i haven't mentioned. Anyway: WELCOME BACK haha.

Cheers fella's... Not sure where this is going to take me, maybe just scrimming with some teams to see if I still have "it", as i say ive got a geo/rotor at the moment with an out of date bottle, but thats all borrowed kit anyway.... I had an ego 11 with prophecy which was the better loader so may have a look at the second hand market, will stick with eclipse as they were always good to Loki and we never had problems with their guns. Have playing kit so will just pick up a cheapo set of I4s or the new events which look tasty... Will look into Older Geo's and Ego's, LV1 seems very impressive!

Niall, none of us play really as far as im aware, Woody runs a site so is always busy which is a shame, i shall probably be playing at Bricketwood or that site near Basildon if its still running?! Snetty shut down years ago, wasnt anyone to really run it/pay for it once we moved on!
