well on the face of it they both have the same barrel, feedneck, asa, regulator, and trigger. so really it all comes down to the internals. They have very different solenoids however I don't know enough to compare the performance on them. Really as far as the bolt systems go, Despite spool valves generally needing more care, the etha is really as hard as the etek so no issues with that. While the etek uses air pressure to return the bolt, the etha uses a spring and I'd say that you can feel this when you shoot it and is the reason i think the etek shoots a bit nicer. You've also got the option of adjusting the LPR on the etek to further reduce the force on the rammer.
Tbh they are very closely matched guns and in my opinion, they are both as good as each other and if anything I'd say the etek just feels that little bit nicer to shoot.
EDIT: having had a think, in my opinion it all comes down to either ETHA: slightly cheaper, quieter or ETEK: ease of bolt access (can do it gassed up), slightly nicer shooting
