Good to hear! :) You've got the terminology right, as supair//speedball/airball are all the same thing really. This is the form of paintball that this forum generally caters for but as you know there are thousands of players out there that play recreationally at walk ons, and may venture on to bigger scenario events. There is a great guide written by a member in the newbie section on what each type of game involves and gives some really handy figures on what you can expect to play so i'd check that out asap.

As a tournament/supair player all i can say is welcome to the biggest adrenaline rush of you're life, and be prepared to have a very empty wallet! :)

Welcome to the sport. My best advise would be to gradually ease yourself in, don't get too carried away at first, play a few rental days before running out and spending a fortune on kit. It can be very tempting to blow a pile of cash on the first shiny toy you see. There's a lot of helpful people on here so ask as many questions as you can.

Sup air / speedball / tournament play is the more fast paced & competitive style.
You are in the right place to find out about that.

The scenario scene is very varied and a lot of organisers are doing some unique things on top of the classic 'capture the flag'. You can get seriously big games, unusual new venues such as active British army FIBUA & FISH training sites and innovative technology with props that realy work.
The scenario games cater for players with different tastes at the same event, and also there are combined tournaments & scenarios lined up.
(Of course I must say Task Force Delta have the best gadgets ;-), (as seen on TV) because we have an Adam)
