Hi,

I was cleaning my room out the other day and came across some of my old paintball gear, of which there was my old stako tank I had noticed there was 2000 PSI still left in the bottle, upon further inspection I had noticed the bottle has gone out of date by 12 months the end date is 01/2012 can anyone give me ideas on how to remove the air so i can dispose of the bottle safetly. I no longer have a marker so I can't screw it into that and let the air go that way.

or if you have a marker with macroline just disconnect the macroline, screw the tank in to the gun and turn the ASA on. if you have a gas-thru-grip design you could just remove the asa and do the same. whatever is easiest.

nope no difference, just make sure to save the reg when you bin the tank!

In that case take it to your local site and ask a member of staff to vent it.

a bit tough to push the pin in at 2000psi?

use an allen key end or push a closed end pair of pliers
