Best is a matter of opinion. Personally, I haven't looked back since I bought my DM7 shoots as smooth as silk, is whisper quiet and is just as reliable as any poppet.

If you're willing to spend an extra fiver or so, the Planet Eclispe Etha is in your price range, and having shot one, they are pretty nice for the price range, very distictive firing sound though.

Or you could go for an Etek. If you don't mind the poppet going back & forth close to your face (I have yet to get used to it), they are as solid as a rock and reliable. and easy to maintain. Might need a bolt upgrade if you're going to be shooting really brittle paint

.....and that's where my knowledge runs out.

DM7's don't seem to come up that often. People keep hold of them! It may not be the sexiest or the most efficient, but it is the most reliable spoolie i've ever fired. Any problems I've had are me normally being a plonker. (I.e forgetting to turn it on, putting cheap batteries in it, not turning the ASA on)

I would say a Etha is the best in that price range

Well thats the price range i will be putting mine up for soon

Lovely markers and work so well once they are broken in

Can only shot one at a time :) And the other half says i spend to much on paintball and with a wedding coming up :)
