KoDa,

We can't really help you on this package alond, as there are other deals out there that may be better suited to you - without knowing what your;
Finiancial situation;
How often you're going to be playing;
Age;
If you may be thinking about playing paintball perhaps a little more competitivly; (Don't worry about this one)

Personally I would say get in touch with a local site to you that has walk on's; a meeting usually once a month between woodsballers (people playing paintball at the same sites that people like yourself have played at). These are usually informal meeting places where most people are friendly and approachable, I believe they are the best places to ask about paintball gear and get hold of equipment and try them in the hand - there is nothing worse then buying one of these deals and finding out that it is totally unsuited to you (what happened to me once I jumped straight into the deepend without getting the equipment to hand to understand what I would be buying).

If anything, hold off from buying a paintball gun, get yourself a good pair of Goggles first, as your vision on field is one of the most important aspects to your game.
Even if you do get your own gun - some paintball sites do not allow people to use their own markers.

There are good walk on's that can be found through a quick Google search. I would advise someone like yourself to buy yourself come goggles (make sure that you're happy with your puchase - second hand goggles from this website for around the £30-45 mark are usually of the highest quality with minor wear). Get yourself down to a walk on, rent the site kit and talk to people throughout the day to see what their views and opinions are on paintball gear - they might even be able to offer you some gear on the day such as packs, loaders and playing gear at a fraction of the price you would buy brand new.

Just my thoughts on how I would go about starting paintball again with what I know now :)

Edit - I'd spend more money on paintball gear then getting a budget deal like that Tipmann deal, because I think you would grow out of that very, very quickly

Really sound advice there. The problem with these deals is your paying for the gun foremost and then the rest of it is of much lower quality so you end up having to pay again for better quality gear.

There is some really good kit you can pick up on this site second hand and if you want people's advice on what to buy just ask away:)

Good advice above
But looking at the package, let's analyse what is included and see how well it has been put together

A5 - good rock solid marker. But depending on your needs / play style is it the marker for you?
To be a bit more up to date if his is your marker style then consider the X7 or X7 phenom

Basic goggles

5 pods, but a 2 pod belt
Remote line, but a 2 pod belt and nowhere to put your bottle

Remote line pictured appears to have a slide check, but not mentioned in the write up
(a slide check lets you turn off the air and disconnect from the marker without reaching around your back and turning off the air)

3000psi air cylinder. Good basic starter air. Air is better than co2, but the a5 will run on either. Check what your local site has available, as it's no good having an air cylinder if you play at a site that only has co2.
People often recommend 4500psi cylinders, but 3000psi aluminium ones are considerably cheaper and meet the needs of most players

Neck guard and gloves are not so essential to get in a package. Better to choose your own gloves

Paintballs - the air cylinder will arrive empty, you have to go to a site to fill it and won't be able to use your own paint there

Get to a site or event, chat with the guys, see what you like

If you see a trader at an event or ring around you can get a deal on a package to meet you specific requirements

I would mostly play woodball (maybe later speedball), btw is there any site that allows me to bring my own equipment, because I haven't seen any near me. :unsure:

Where do you live buddy?
Paintball usually requires you travel to country locations which is not easy to get to without a car sometimes. If you don't own a car try and get some friends involved and to get your parents to car pool you there ;)

personally, i wouldn't use the vast majority of the stuff you get in that package.
the a5, the bottle and the barrel sock are the only decent pieces of equipment in the whole package.

if your serious about getting into paintballing...
start with the most important piece of equipment and get a DECENT mask. they dont fog up, they look nicer, theyre cleaner, better condition and more comfortable then the ones you borrow at sites
second, get a DECENT electrical hopper. you can pick up a good quality empire reloader b on the classifieds for about £30
the majority of rental markers you borrow from paintballing sites are either tippman A5's or BT4's anyway.
so why not put your hopper on the borrowed marker! instead of shooting air half the time with gravity hoppers like every other regular joe at the site, youll be shooting balls as fast as you can pull that trigger!

just two cheap pieces of equipment and you'll be smashing everyone there!

I live in South Yorkshire/Sheffield
Name your town and someone will identify a walkon site for you.

Your first experience will have been a punter game - perhaps getting in for free or about £10, then paying around £50 per thousand paintballs.

Find a site that runs walkons and you will be getting double the paint for your money - around £30 a case of 2000, but paying a contribution to the entry as well. If you have not yet got all your own gear then you can still rent some for a reasonable price.

Shockingly different prices, but the normal 'punter' prices are what keeps sites in business - and it comes with the greatest cost with the most staff etc. The cheaper prices welcome the regular repeat customer.

If you have access to transport then there is a whole different world of scenario events accross the country, and some special venues. Pay more to get in to fund the event and special effects, but get paint at the cheapest prices direct from retailers attending events.
