Right, i've been playing Woodsball for a fair bit now and a few close mates of mine either play Supair/Tournament Paintball and they say its alot better. I've always wanted to try it but the thing is where to start? I've got NPF which is fairly close and CPPS Fields.

I'm pretty nervous in trying it. I've watched a few videos and it just looks so good! People are mature and have the great mind set while im watching these videos everyone takes it serious and they are having fun also.

I've recently brought a new marker which was a upgrade from a Smart Parts Vibe (My brother brought me a few years back as a "Starter" which i was very grateful about) I Currently own a Invert Mini which has a Invert Halo 2 Hopper and a 3000psi Tank, i've used it once up my local Woodsball place having a private session with a group of friends with there own marker i've got to tell you it was great! but the thing is do i stand a chance against people with Etek3's, Eclipse Guns, Geo 2's , Egos. Everyone mocks the Invert for the amount of problems it has but that seriously doesnt bother me. I got it for a reasonable price which would boost my love and passion about Paintball.

But yeah trying Tournament/Supair Paintball for the first time! any tips/suggestions for a first timer aye? you was all once in my position! :p

Be looking forward to reading your replies and feedback also i'll leave a picture of my gun for you to have a look at sorry if its nothing compared to your own marker!

markers only make up a small percent of a player's skill set.

One could own an NT/Geo2.1/DM12/Luxe 2.0 and still play like sh*t

As long as you are competent enough to shoot paint in the general direction of the opposing team and co-ordinate well with team-mates then you're good to go.

High-end markers with high-end hoppers only make a real difference in the pro leagues where any edge over the competition is worth having.

The mini doesnt have many problems... When i baught my first mini it had been well spanked by a tourney player (and was an earlier one not brand new version like yours) put a new solenoid in it which was about £20 and worked perfect and stil does as i sold it to a mate. Keep it clean, keep it lubed and use good batteries and it should be fine. Other than they may be able to shoot paint thats really brittle the mini will have no problems competing in my opinion. X

HOLY CRAP!! now that's a tank;)

but in all seriousness the mini is just a means to an end, it will shoot as well as you can make it perform same as any marker.
you don't need a high end gun to play well you just need a good mindset and a pre game stretch

Hahaha! Yeah sorry about that "3000psi" i added a 5 in by mistake haha. i was originally an "Co2" user when i had my Smart Parts Vibe. and that was the only budget tank i could find for the mean time. Believe i picked it up for £34 which isnt bad for a starter i suppose ;)
