"A Sad Day

I have learned that Angel Sports is ceasing operations. I don’t know all the details, not sure it really matters. They will make announcements concerning this shortly. I have been assured by the UK office that parts will be available to service the markers. The details of this arrangement should become clear in the near future, and should be announced by the UK office this week. For the near future, both myself and Bob at Fix My Angel (www.fixmyangel.com) have parts in stock in the US for your customers.

I have some items in stock personally, and will be willing to honor your dealer pricing (or give you an even better deal) where I can on those items. Anyone looking for accessories, or especially clothing, please contact me asap and we’ll see what we can work out. Once these items are gone, I am not sure I can get more.

Because I feel an obligation to the players, teams, and dealers I have worked with, I will continue to monitor and use the jay@angelsports.com email. I have been assured that it will work for some time. If that turns out not to be the case, I have set up a personal email account, pballjay@gmail.com that I will begin to monitor if the angelsports.com email fails or ceases to exist. I will continue to maintain and monitor my mobile number, XXXXXXXX so that any of you that wish to reach me will be able to do so.

Had many a happy time over the last 7 odd years with my Angels - Gutted I sold them all now - Wish I had now kept my Rasta Fly !!!!!

I think the UK arm is yet to comment, but suggestions are that parts will still be available through distribution, but for how long I don't know. Such a shame.

The Green brothers, Ged, Matthew and John have been pioneers in paintball for over 20 years. They changed paintball in so many ways by introducing the electronic marker and using air instead of Co2. They moved paintball out of the woods and into the sup'air game you all play today. Paintball wouldn't be where it is, not even close, if it weren't for the Green brothers, Bart, Frazer and all the others in the past such as Owen and JR.
I hope they remain in the sport/industry as it would be a great loss for all of us if they don't.
I hope you will join me in wishing everyone at Angel Paintball best wishes for the future.

couldn't have said it better. it's been on the cards a while but still a great loss to paintball. maybe not the recent achievements but certainly when i was starting angel were on the forefront, i still love my 04 and 05.
think i picked the right time to switch to vanguard though, i remember leachy you saying 'angels vs demons who will win', looks like we're finding out eh?! lol
