Hi Everyone

We have a team registered in Div 2 for Paris millennium. We are short some players (through injuries and other reasons).

If you are keen let me know. Please give us a brief description of playing history (what leagues you have played in), where you play on the field and anything else you think we should know. PM me this information please.

Previous millennium experience is preferable but not critical.

I will then also give yo more info about our team and background.

Regards

Oliver

He said he played div 3 so it's not locked you can play for who you want.
afraid not hun, I have been speaking to Millennium about the same issue and it is not allowed.

Me:
I just found this: 3.05 Players cannot switch teams during a season. Once they are registered for a team, they cannot play for a different team in the same calendar year. Exception: Players can switch to a team playing in a higher division, provided all other restrictions (e.g. roster cap) are adhered to and that the agreement of both team captains/owners and the MS commissioner have been granted
Does that mean our other player can move from Div 3 to Div 2 to play for us, even though he was on a different team?

Mills:
Sorry, no players can switch teams throughout the season according to the rules so I'm afraid if anyone has played already they cannot move teams for the Paris event http://www.millennium-series.com/downloads/ms_roster_sizes_2011.pdf
You can of course enter a 2nd team in M5 but the rules apply to this division also, so no players can switch onto this team either from other teams.

Hi guys

hmmm, this sucks a bit that players who have played this year can't switch teams, not even to a higher div.

Team info: It is Team Awsim in Div 2. It is a South African entry but only 4 players will be able to make it. I live in London and will be playing with them, so we need some more players. We are not too picky really. If you play decent ball, played some tournament ball before and can make it through to Paris (and I guess are elligible to play) then you will be welcome on the team.

Team Awsim play at the highest level in SA but because this is the only Millennium event they are playing in this year they cannot play in Div1 or SPl (as these are locked). We obviously want to compete in Div2 so that is why we don't really want to put any noobs on the field. In Div 2 I don't think that would be fair to them either. If you are keen, please PM me. Then I will let you know all the financial details (entry fee, sponsorship, etc.) for the event.

Thanks for all the info though. Good to know.

I love how you quote their rules to them and they still say "according to the rules" and give you some obscure pdf that would be long buried under the heap of **** on their website. I'm not saying it's the right thing to do, but there is always just re-registering under a different name... just make sure your players photo is obscure enough to not pick up a duplicate.
