"We will end it now as most of the guys feel it's time. It have been the best time of our lives and soo glad and proud to have been part of paintball.

What Im most proud of is that the team have keept together from day one. Not 1 player in the 15 year history of the teamhave left Joy for another team.
And therefor it's just right that we end it together."

Sad day indeed. Thanks for all the games and memories Mag! You have been a great team to look up to!

Massive loss. They deserve huge kudos for sticking it for this long and showing how proffesional a team can be!!!

Very sad. I've been a long term Joy fan and trained with Max last year. Great guy, great team.

I wonder has paintball just become too expensive? Bullets gone, Joy gone, who's next?

It is a sad day yes but not unsurprising ... in fact, it's been coming for the last few years and what's worse, others will follow Joy Division to that paintball dead-box in the sky.

All the time our promoters and leagues adhere to a format that squeezes the financial lifeblood out of its players, we will witness our sport's numbers contract, it's inevitable I'm afraid.

I have been saying for a long time now that the XBall format we play is killing us and will continue to do so all the time we use it in our tournaments ... it really has to go ... it has served its purpose but is now an anachronism and a cancer in our sport.

Commonsense needs to return .... and it needs to return fast!!!

The Millennium needs to adopt a holistic strategy as against one that is seemingly focused upon its imagined financial return ... I use the word 'imagined' because our promoters believe their adherence to Xball is the best way to maximise our event's financial potential ... this is an illusion and most certainly not the case at all.

We need to get back to a game that has bigger fields and more bunkers thus increasing the game time.
If people don't fancy going back to 7 man [which in my opinion is the best format] then they need to adopt a format that best approximates 7 man's positives.

This situation makes me so frustrated because it's so easy to put right.
I have to shake my head sometimes, I really do
