Hey

I went to my local paintball store today and managed to acquire a marker from them for free (was under the counter, next to some autocockers. They said that someone gave it to them and that I could just have it if i wanted to :) ). I was just wondering what it might be.

I first thought it was an Impulse, but having a look around the interweb i couldnt seem to match the marker with an Impulse like picture.

If anyone could give me a helping hand I would be greatly appreciative.

(sorry for image quality, used my phone to take the picture)

Hmm maybe, doesn't matter what it is at the moment less i get it fixed. The battery holder's black cable keeps disconnecting from the board :(. Other than that it works :p

Though I do wonder if anyone else would know what it is, would be nice to find out specifically if its broken more than just the battery holder. (though I doubt i could get parts for it nowadays anyway)

No names or serials, the only number i can find is i guess the bore size which is 2742.

Unless the serial is actually inside the marker, as in in the frame. (Haven't quite figured out how to open up the frame yet, so that might actually be impossible).

I don't mind if people want to be harsh on me for this, don't really know what im doing with the marker as all I own is an Etek (which is pretty simple enough to fix, i'm not used to having old markers).

I wish it didnt have that loose cable, its actually a nice-looking marker. Purple to silver fade :)
Just need to find someone willing to solder for me :p

It does look like an excalibur.....

2003 model, looks very similar....minus the reg and the asa

One of the other markers there was like that blue cocker (though it was like an oil slick colour, he wouldnt sell it. So i'm guessing its worth quite a bit :p )

The only other bit of information i have is that it has switches to change modes (i guess) inside the left hand grip, next to the battery holder

Seems like the guys over at TechPB managed to find out what it was.

Some kind of Tribal marker, not exactly sure what that is but it is very very similar to the one i have next to me :p

Tribal Twister 2.2 <- thats it :)
