Just some feed back i would like to give... I think that fields and pitches (Tents with tables areas) should be allocated to those teams that are close to them that are playing on that field because i saw alot of ref shouting for teams and they didnt turn up so we had to wait.

second this, would be nice to see 1 at least for each team located at there field as it would cut down on waiting for other teams to turn up as they dont no they on. Could easily be down but cable tying the teams name to the poles of the tent..

maybe a sheet with the teams playing this field, teams wont stop there if they arnt playing that feild. they will move on to there own. Also moving the pitting area to the same side as the trade and food ? apart from that mintish day. Players not turning up doesn't help get you off to a good day, but lesson learned. really digging the new site good work lads

oh and sorry about the pissy fit with the guy in the snake - totally looked like the ref called him out, I turned away and he shot me, like he had been put back in.

the field was awesome. refs were decent enough, rich was a true legend for helping us out saturday night.. look forward to future events.

Thanks go out to Rich for the entertainment on the Saturday night, was a pleasure to ref in the morning session with a great bunch of refs. Doing a fantastic job rich, your hearts in the exact right place, between you and pelling the federation could go far. Look forward to the next one.

Where you near just paintball by any chance as I think you will find that Jack the dog was walking round with a pod with stuff in it trying to get everyone to throw it for him!!!

Thanks for letting me know. I was totally not expecting a reply to that message and really did not see that coming. I'll have to be more careful in future where I leave my stuff!

That was the one black mark on what was otherwise a thoroughly great day of balling and it's now (more or less) sorted itself out.

Yeah it was a choice... stage by the music with the other teams... or stage next to our sponsors, a burger van, toilets and a giant flat screen TV. Plus when we arrived quite early all the tables next to field 3 were pretty much taken.

I see what they're trying to do with making a spectator area one side and staging the other, just seemed to create quite a degree of separation.

1 major flaw i saw was the actual entrances onto the fields.. after i'd finished reffing i went and spent some time with DJ Jimmy by his kit and watched the Xball on the field next to us... the field entrance wasnt covered and it would of only taken 1 stray paintball to do some serious damage to either equipment or someones face etc.. perhaps a scaffold structure on the front of the entrance covered in netting so players need to go through 2 doors, bit like the ways onto the fields at uttoxeter. i also noticed field 4 being on the scew, was a bit confused as to why. perhaps a tent in the corner of each field covered in netting for ref stuff (water etc) was not pleasant drinking hot water come the afternoon many thanks to all the teams on field 4. i love reffing you all and honestly cant wait until the next round much luv !!!
