Expanding on my first post:-
1. In today's economic conditions, with teams folding, merging, and sponsorship dollars drying up, having financial backing from outside the industry is more important than ever. A couple of teams that I can think of are lucky enough to have this.
2. The off-season has seen a lot of movement of players, but new players need time to bed in and gel with the rest of the squad. Teams that have a stable roster are more consistent.
3. I would define "heart" as coming back no matter how many times you get beat down.
4. There are only a handful of good coaches in the UK. One is taking a year out, another is retired and another is kind of busy.
And Gassy, you're right. As long as you enjoy playing, that's all you need.
