Hi,
Hoping you can help i am wanting to cap my original Etek to 10 balls per second and am just wanting confirmation that this can be done with bbss enabled or disabled, so that if i have to turn my eyes off during a game my gun wont suddenly shoot higher than said bps.

The way i see this been done for say semi 2 parameter is setting the Max Rate of Fire (Capped Modes) indicated by a green 'G' on semi 2 to the desired BPS. Then setting the same BPS on The Max Rate of Fire (BBSS Disabled) indicated by a Blue 'G'.

Hope that makes sense but will if confusing will try to re explain. Hope that i am correct in my thinking any corrections would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. Am also looking to do the same set up on an Ego 05 and 06 but believe that they will need to be re flashed am i correct in this thinking.

Cheers

If you haven't already done the Etek I can help,

Milenium mode, 10BPS

Hold the trigger down press the 'On' button in and you should see white and light blue lights flash on the 'E' & 'O' at this point let go of the trigger.

then you should be on a red light on the 'G' hold the trigger down and it will flash 'G' 'G' 'E' 'G' (in Red) then you let go of the trigger and the 'E' should be lit up.

Press the 'On' button ONCE and the 'G' will light up. pull the trigger 5 times slowly so you know where your up to and then its in 'Ramp 5 Milenium Mode 2008', after pulling the trigger it 5 times press the 'On' button ONCE and the 'O' should be lit up.

Press the 'On' button again and the 'E'G'O' should flash (GREEN) three times. (which means it has saved. )

then turn the gun off.

Capping BPS

Hold the trigger down press the 'On' button in and you should see white and light blue lights flash on the 'E' & 'O' at this point let go of the trigger.

then you should be on a red light on the 'G' press the 'On' button ONCE and then the 'G' should now be lit up (GREEN)

hold the trigger down and it should flash 'G'G'E'G'E'. (this is the important bit that youtube people miss the gun is in 0.1 increments I missed it out loads of times :tsk:)

The 'O' = 0.1 'G' = 1 'E' = 10

after you have held the trigger the 'E' should be lit up. pull the trigger ONCE. and press the 'On' button twice so it skips the 'G' & 'O' and press it a third time for it to save.

Then turn the gun off.

At this point its set to '2008 Milenium Mode 10BPS'

Anything else I can help with the Etek I will gladly help with as I have messed about with mine so many times

Cheers for the response all was sorted a while back and it was as i thought it would be.

Just out of interest i'm putting a zick kit in my gun shortly and was wondering do you have any setting you would recommend lpr, dwell that sort of thing. My gun is all factory settings apart from the capping. With my history of breaking guns by just touching them i'm not prone to tinkering if it still works.

Cheers :)

Hi.

yer i haven't received it yet but i am presuming its just a matter of replacing existing parts making sure there oiled as per manufactures instructions etc. But i can read instructions and i am sure i can figure it out. :)

In regards to the dwell setup thats not a problem, although I have read in other places that a stock board shouldn't really be set below 10. i take it you haven't had a problem with this.

cheers again.

Yea just replacing existing parts is pretty much it and yea keep it well maintained, as for the stock board I have never heard of it "shouldn't be set below 10" never heard that. might be true but my gun shoots pretty nice with the Dwell at 5. personal prefrenece's really.
